DIR with Kassie Allison MOT, OTR/L

Kassie is a seasoned developmental occupational therapist and doctoral student from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. Kassie is passionate about the DIR model (Developmental, Individual differences, Relationship-based) and holds multiple advanced DIR certifications. She also holds certification as an Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. In 2023, Kassie was honored to join Profectum Foundation’s board of directors and serves as the host of Profectum’s podcast, “Tuning in to Development.”

Kassie launched her first pediatric OT practice, Greenhouse Pediatric Therapy, in 2014, and her current passion project is Greenhouse Consulting and Developmental Services. Through Greenhouse, she provides OT and DIR services for children, adults, and families. Her specialties include social-emotional development, sensory processing, feeding, trauma, play, and behavior. Kassie also dedicates time to teaching, mentoring, and consulting with other professionals, schools, and organizations.

Kassie lives in a neurospicy household with her lovely husband, two talented teens, and a ridiculously smart and anxious dog. Kassie enjoys performing arts, ball games, puzzles, reading, and playing board games… but primarily spends her free time chauffeuring her kids to rehearsals, performances, and games.
